In the aftermath of hurricane Harvey, prolonged flooding leaves many people with nothing, and families are in need of basic necessities such as food and shelter. As relief teams from across the nation work in these recovering communities, your support is needed now more than ever. Below are some ways you can assist with Hurricane Harvey relief:

AMERICAN RED CROSS

The American Red Cross is focused on providing food and shelter to the thousands of displaced families in downtown Houston. Click here to support their efforts through a donation.

GLEANING FOR THE WORLD

Recognized as the “most efficient large charity in the USA”, Gleaning For The World is sending trucks of disaster relief supplies to communities across the Houston area.  Click here to support their efforts.

UNITED WAY

TEXAS DIAPER BANK

Diapers are a necessity for many babies and some elderly individuals, but are not provided by disaster relief agencies. The Texas Diaper Bank is collecting and distributing diapers to families in need. Click here to learn more.

      Thanks for the suggestion, Eleanor! We’ve added a link to the United Way Harvey response page. Their local branches in the affected region have specific relief efforts which can be donated to, making it a great way to see the direct impact of donations!
