With this commitment comes the responsibility of the transportation and storage of hazardous materials. Here at Foster Fuels we take this responsibility very seriously. Foster Fuels transports and delivers petroleum distillates such as gasoline and fuel oil, and also liquefied petroleum gas (propane). All of these materials are considered hazardous by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Labor (OSHA) and therefore come under strict federal and state guidelines.

Foster Fuels’ safety and management teams lead by our Safety Director is constantly reviewing federal and state regulations for the implementation of safety training, for employees, compliance and customer safety improvements at our company.

Foster Fuels underwent a complete compliance safety review by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration in 2009 and received a satisfactory compliance rating. Commitment to safety and compliance equals educated employees, workplace safety and equipment and safer service for our customers.
