Green Renewable Fuels

Green Renewable Fuels like Ethanol and BioDiesel are fuels derived from plants or animal fat that can replace oil-based fuels such as gasoline or diesel.

Ethanol can be distilled from corn, sugarcane or even straw and other cellulosic plant materials such as wood chips or grasses. Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oil crops such as palm, soybeans or rapeseed, or animal fats and leftover restaurant grease.

The use of renewable fuel has been mandated by the Federal Government. By 2012, 7.5 billion gallons of biofuel are to be used in the US. These numbers will only climb due to environmental responsibility and the push for energy independence.
