Thank you to everyone that joined us in collecting items for families and children in need in our local communities.

Our Danville office acted as a donation drop off location for people to donate coats to give to the Salvation Army.

ToyLiftTogether our Lovingston and Charlottesville showrooms partnered with Toy Lift to collect toy and book donations for children in the Charlottesville area. Due to the community’s generous donations, 73 toys and $540 donations were received and sent to these children in need.

IMG_4880.smallOur office headquarters in Brookneal chose to partner with the Brookneal Emergency Assistance Ministries (BEAM), which is a local food drive that collects nonperishable food items and paper products for people in need. Through the help of the community and our staff at the main office in Brookneal, we received close to 200 donations for the ministry. If you missed our donation deadline, BEAM collects non-perishable food items like canned goods, crackers, peanut butter and jelly and paper products on Tuesdays from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to noon. For more information, check out BEAM on Facebook.

To help spread ChristmaIMG_4947.smalls cheer to local residents, our Rustburg showroom and students from Mrs. Terral’s Early Learning Center class at Liberty Christian Academy joined together to give back to Liberty Ridge Nursing Home in Lynchburg. Our staff and the class put together gift bags including socks, lotions, packs of tissues, ChapStick, soft peppermints, and homemade cards to give to each of the 52 residents living in the home. On Wednesday, December 23rd the group delivered each gift bag to the community at Liberty Ridge Nursing Home. Santa Claus also made an appearance at the event.
