Brookneal, VA – October 10, 2016 – Foster Fuels Mission Critical dispatched fuel trucks to Hurricane Matthew relief efforts across the East Coast starting on October 7, 2016. Approximately 125 individuals and 150 vehicles are spread throughout the lower East Coast providing support to U.S. government, power utilities, hospitals, television stations, and other mission critical facilities.
With the entire East Coast on high alert and several large businesses without power, Foster Fuels’ employees are working around the clock to provide the needed fuel for mission critical relief. Working quickly and safely, the team is making their way around obstacles and flooding to help those in need as soon as possible.
Being one of the largest storms since Hurricane Sandy, Foster Fuels Mission Critical division is prepared to face the severity of the storm while also providing fuel in a safe and contained manner.
