BROOKNEAL, VA – Watt R. Foster, Jr., owner and CEO of Foster Fuels, Inc., awarded over $10,000 dollars in scholarships to graduating seniors at the local high school William Campbell.

IMG_0206 copy_310pxJennifer Foster, Watt Foster Jr.’s wife attended the graduation to personally award each scholarship to the triumphant students that met or exceeded the academic and professional criteria necessary to win the scholarship.

These generous scholarships are given in honor of influential members of the community that were heavily involved at William Campbell High School and have since passed away. The largest of the awards is in the amount of $5,000 in honor of Sterling E. Meadows or as he was lovingly known as “Bud”. Meadows was a kind-hearted custodian who touched many lives, and his memory lives on through the scholarship.

Congratulations to the ambitious young men and women that attained these awards and completed their education at William Campbell High School.
