Foster Fuels Responds to Winter Storms
Our Team is on the Way
Foster Fuels is working around the clock to fuel the local community in the wake of winter storm Tabitha. Our team is all hands-on deck and team members are traversing ice, clearing snow, and even moving trees out of the road to make deliveries happen.
During this time of high demand, we encourage our customers to place their order early, as this gives our team ample time to schedule deliveries in advance. Early orders assist our team in planning out more efficient delivery routes, enabling customers to receive the fuel they need when they need it.
We greatly appreciate our customers for helping their drivers make their deliveries safely and efficiently. Thank you for checking your gauge, calling early, and clearing snow and ice from your propane tanks!

Foster’s Senior Vice President, Darrell St. John, traded his office desk for a truck and worked with his son to keep their community fueled over the weekend.
HOW LONG WILL MY FUEL LAST?
When temperatures remain low, propane users tend to burn more fuel due to running gas logs, space heaters, water heaters and other home appliances longer than usual. Do not be concerned if your fuel gauge reads at 20% or higher. Your tank most likely has several days of fuel left, depending on the number of heat sources it fuels.
To ensure your tank is topped-off soon, please provide our team with your tank size, number of active propane appliances and your current fuel level. We strongly encourage individuals with physical limitations to seek assistance from a family member, friend, or neighbor who can check their gauge. This information enables our logistics team to estimate your current fuel usage as they plan efficient delivery routes that serve as many of our customers as is possible.
Thank you for assisting our team as we keep you warm!
“Utility power has been interrupted for millions of people, so we needed to act fast, but also ensure the safety of our team. Safety is always a top priority during emergency missions at Foster Fuels. The added variable of ice and snow makes our focus on safety even more important.”
– Will Rohrig, Senior Vice President
Supporting National relief efforts
Record-smashing cold and ice rolled across the southern US on Monday leaving millions without power. The Foster Mission Critical division has deployed fuel trucks in the wake of these widespread power outages, and is currently fueling critical facilities and power companies as they restore power to millions of Americans.
Foster Fuels’ Mission Critical Division responds to natural disasters like hurricanes, wild fires, tornados and other disruptive events year-round, fueling recovery efforts and keeping backup generators running.
Meeting local Relief needs
Foster Fuels had the opportunity to donate several tanks of fuel to the SBC of Virginia as they set up mobile kitchens at fire stations and churches around Charlotte county. They are working to provide hot meals to families without power due to winter storm Tabitha. Foster team members also delivered critical resources including seven pallets of water to help support the county’s relief efforts.
Many local families have been without power since winter storm Tabitha hit a week ago. Our Foster Fuels family is going above and beyond to deliver during this time, working long hours to make deliveries to the families we serve.
Thank you to our team members for making these donations are part of our #FosterGives partnership with the Watt Foster Family Foundation.
